The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for the yacht owners and guests, as well as catering for crew during regattas.

  • Cuisine Style: Simple, fresh, and clean Mediterranean flavors.
  • Specialties: Modern Asian fusion twist.
  • Environment: Swiss-flagged vessel; international crew.
  • English: Fluent English is non-negotiable.
  • Multi-role: Must be ready at all times to assist on deck as part of the permanent crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare daily meals for owners, guests, and crew.
  • Deliver refined yet fresh Mediterranean cuisine, alongside creative Asian-inspired dishes.
  • Cater for regatta crew with nutritious, high-energy meals.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in the galley.
  • Provision efficiently and manage stock with minimal waste.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the stewardess team to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist on deck as needed, especially during regattas and busy operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Attitude: Young, dynamic, energetic, and positive.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine (Asian fusion is a strong plus).
  • Organization: Excellent time management and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Teamwork: Flexible and proactive mindset.
  • Certification: Valid STCW and ENG1 certificates.
  • Bonus: Additional hygiene certifications or professional chef qualifications.
